“I’ve enjoyed using the Scope Travel 200 as a camera bag as I hike. If feels very comfortable on my back—so much so, I barely noticed it when I’m hiking, even when its loaded with 2 cameras, an extra lens, binoculars, a water bottle and odds and ends. I like the front compartment that has smaller pockets and places for my phone, keys, pens, spare memory cards and granola bars. A few times, I brought along a very long telephoto lens, and it was great to have that extra-long compartment in the middle of the pack to protect it. I liked that I could keep my camera body attached to the lens. The two padded compartments on either side of the center kept things in their places and well protected.

I love that this pack has a handle on top and on the side, and not just the shoulder straps. The straps are very comfortable, and I like that the chest strap is adjustable. I appreciated how easy it is to roll up the excess strap ends and hide them away so they aren’t flapping around while I hike. I also really like the material the bag is made of—it feels sturdy and is very quiet when I’m walking.”
